The hubs and I went camping this past weekend.
I used our campfire to burn words.
To let go.
To clear ground.
To catch fire and start over.
Change is good...
I tossed my suicide note from a few weeks ago into the flames with my marshmallow sticky fingers.
I'm so ridiculously grateful for so many things and so many people that helped me through the recent darkness. I promised you the darkness wouldn't last forever. And it didn't.
This dark suicide note literally turned into light...
A friend recently told me, "Please be the woman who asks for support when your own strength disappears." I am learning to be that woman. If you are not yet, I hope you are learning to be too.
Ask for support when you need it.
Catch fire.
Clear ground.
Let go.
And by all means, make some s'mores.

DeleteSo glad the light has found you again, Brave B. We crazy peeps are kinda like phoenix's, huh ? Go through the fire and come out the other side to shine again. And knowing we are flying in a flock helps us see the light too, I think.
