You Are My Compass

Crazy pill count:
AM .5 Ativn, 90 Cymbalta, 10 Viibryd, 25 Lamictal
afternoon 1 Ativan, 5 Zyprexa
PM 1 Ativan

I would like to officially introduce you to my editor, Lucy:

She's tough. She sits on my left leg while I type, and swats at my typing fingers when she doesn't agree with my adjective usage. She also runs to the printer any time I print something which I find to be quite useful. She doesn't, however, bring any of the pages to me, which is actually not useful at all. I suppose she's more of a printer supervisor...you know upper management type.

Lucy hard at work supervising:

She also sleeps on the revisions
she doesn't care for so I can't use them:

And she's a great proofreader
often stepping on the delete or caps lock key.

I've made a serious dedication to myself to write my book, The Joy of Being Bipolar, this year. It's coming along - sometimes labored and slowly, others gracefully, but coming along nonetheless. I know very little about the publishing world but have heard a rumor that blogs with followers can possibly help the publishing process.

If you enjoy reading this blog and are not already an "official follower," it would be a tremendous gift to me if you became one. You can do so by clicking the "join this site" button on the bottom right hand side of the screen below the word "followers."

Also, I have created a new survey, with a little more detail, to help keep me on track and write a book you would both want to read, and find meaningful.

You can take the survey by clicking here!
I really hope you'll choose to take it!

No need to feel shy because all answers are anonymous - anonymous but immensely helpful to me on my writing journey! I think of it as a embarking on a really grand adventure with the help of a compass.

Thank you oodles for all of your support!
Thank you for guiding me North.

"You Are My North" by Brandi Fitgerald

Until next time...

  1. Why was I not an official follower? I thought I was a follower. Again, proving my digital inequities.
    Love and love Mops,
